Each rug has many thousands of knots, each one tied by hand. You choose the size and the colour. The wool yarn can be hand-dyed to match the colour of your choice. The rug can be made to match your sofa or curtains, for example. After discussing your wishes, a sample is made by the Handweaver and sent to you before you place your order. The rugs are made of carpet yarn, a quality blend of 80% nylon and 20% wool. They are soft and luxurious but hard-wearing. The Handweaver produces thick pile rugs and shaggy rya rugs.
