About the Handweaver
The Handweaver produces exclusive rugs and wall hangings, all carefully hand made in Britain. These unique products are individually designed and made in Britain on a hand loom using traditional weaving crafts. The rugs are made of a soft and springy mix of 80% wool and 20% nylon carpet yarn. The Handweaver makes luxury hand knotted shaggy rugs with a deep pile and hand knotted rugs with a shorter pile similar to Oriental carpets. The Handweaver produces custom made rugs as well as a gallery of ready made rugs to choose from. Everything is made by hand in Wales. It is rare for hand knotted rugs to be made in Britain. The latest designs are based on traditional Celtic art with a modern interpretation. These distinctive rugs add style to a room. They are a work of art for your floor. The Handweaver hand dyes the rug yarn for the bespoke rugs to produce a range of colours to suit your room.
