Soprano Hotels was set up by owner Jonathan Day who gained his hotel experience managing a number of Scotland's finest hotels including the luxurious Balmoral in Edinburgh and De Vere's Cameron House on Loch Lomond. The Hotel has recently been extended to 30 bedrooms and is situated in central Aberdeen outside the Harbour, Bus and Train station.
In 2009 the new 250 million pound Union Square shopping centre opens on the hotel's door step. In 2008 the hotel opened Sopranos Wine Bar and Bistro. This elegant venue brings together design ideas from Sienna, Florence and Paris and has now become one of the hottest tickets in Aberdeen. Now that all the bedrooms have been refurbished the company is looking for it's next hotel acquisition.
