About Yorkshire Indexers
The Yorkshire Indexers' were formed in August 2000 by a group of Family Historians who were actively researching in the Leeds area. Living in Leeds they were aware of its vast size and the problems in locating records. Some of the indexers were already actively indexing self generated projects and the obvious course of action would be to make the details available to others. We are not a Society or Family History Group just a group of individuals wishing to make information available to fellow researchers. We have sevral projects running and we are always looking for volunteers to assist
