About Prime Focus London
Prime Focus London is a visual effects, CGI, DI and Telecine specialist catering to the international feature films, commercials, broadcast and music promo industries.
The Soho facility offers 12 VFX suites, each using the latest Autodesk 2008 kit and extensively supported by Fusion workstations. PFL’s team of colourists, known for their grading expertise and DI experience, have a dedicated floor within the facility offering three Spirit Telecine suites (one at 4k and two at 2K) and a Baselight 8 digital grading suite with Barco DP90p projector, which allows the team to run a true 2K “realtime” workflow. Prime Focus London also offers an in-house VFX team of 50 full-time artists, split equally between the 3D and 2D departments.
A full DI process is available at the facility, from negative development and telecine of dailies through 2k and 4k scanning, conforming, digital grading, VFX, titles, de-spotting, international fully watermarked video deliverables, video and film restoration and film-out via Arri laser.
Prime Focus London is part of the Prime Focus World group, one of the largest integrated film, advertising and television post production and visual effects groups in the world.
