Gina Bingley qualified as a Counsellor in 1999 and as a Clinical Hypnotherapist in 2002, she also trained in Bereavement Counselling, and completed specialist training at a Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre where she stayed on to work as a volunteer Counsellor for a number of years. In 2005 she gained her MSc in Counselling Studies. She also studied CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) at the University of Chester in 2006. While working predominantly from her Appleton address, she has also worked for over 8 years in Primary Care at a local GP practice.
Gina Bingley uses an eclectic style of counselling, ie whatever specialist skills are appropriate in order to be of most benefit to clients.
Her work is mainly with adults, although she has experience of working with young people aged upward of 12 years of age, and has trained in youth matters and child protection issues with the NSPCC.
CONFIDENTIALITY
What goes on in the counselling or hypnotherapy sessions is between patient and therapist. Any concerns will be explored during the initial meeting, at which time the boundaries around confidentiality will be discussed.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Master of Science Degree in Counselling Studies, Diploma and Certificate in Person-Centred Counselling, Post-Graduate Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) Practitioner, Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the National Council of Psychotherapists (NCP).
