About Manchester Neurotherapy Centre
Manchester Neurotherapy Centre was opened in April 2003 and is run by
an experienced team of physiotherapists specialising in neurology. It
provides highly specialised treatment for all individuals with
neurological disabilities as well as being a venue for postgraduate
courses run by the Neurological Teaching Centre. MNC's primary aim is
to provide the highest quality of treatment for individuals with any
form of neurological disability so they can achieve their maximum
potential.
MNC are specialists in neurological physiotherapy
providing treatment for strokes, Multiple Sclerosis, head and brain
injury, incomplete spinal cord injury, Parkinson's disease, Transverse
Myelitis, Ataxia, disability resulting from brain tumour and other
neuropathies including Guillain-Barré Syndrome.
Throughout
treatment MNC's neuro physiotherapists utilise The Bobath Concept, the
most widely used method both in the UK and worldwide.
Uniquely,
all therapists in this clinic are Advanced Bobath trained. Manchester
Neurotherapy Centre has an international reputation for excellence,
since many patients travel from abroad, along with their
physiotherapist and occupational therapist.
All staff are trained to advanced level and two of the therapists teach the Bobath Concept both nationally and internationally.
