About Ktr Couplings
For over 50 years, KTR has been an innovator in the manufacture and supply of power transmission components around the world. KTR Couplings Ltd was founded in 2003 as a fully owned UK subsidiary to provide better service and local contact for their existing and future customers in the UK and Ireland.
KTR began with the original patented BoWex® crowned gear coupling. Years later KTR introduced to the world the ROTEX® jaw style coupling which rapidly became the norm throughout Europe.
Other areas of expertise include hydraulic components - including bellhousings, damping elements, oil coolers and tank heaters; steel tanks - either standard off the shelf or bespoke tanks; torque limiters; torque measurement equipment and clamping elements.
KTR Couplings Ltd is one of 21 subsidiaries worldwide making it one of the only coupling manufacturers with its own global sales and service network, research and development facilities and in house engineering expertise.
