About KIDDS STABLES
Kidd's Stables is a Livery Yard and Stud Farm, located just outside the picturesque village of Gilford in County Down and is managed by husband and wife team, John and Margaret Kidd. The Livery facilities offered at Kidd’s stables are first class, including internal stables, indoor and outdoor arenas and a six horse walker, but the main attractions at the yard are their two stallions, Beragh Bolero and Cavalier.
Beragh Bolero is a 16.1hh, seven-year-old, skewbald stallion, registered as a Section 1 stallion with the Irish Horse Board. He is ¾ thoroughbred and ¼ dutch warmblood. He has an exceptionally placid temperament, which he passes on to his foals, along with his stunning conformation and athletic ability.
Cavalier is a Champion Miniature Show Horse. He is registered and licensed with the British Miniature Horse Society (BMHS). and has repeatedly won the Stallion class and Championships at Lurgan, Saintfield, Ballynahinch, Castlewellan, Clougher Valley and Balmoral Shows.
