Joinery Fit-out Supplies Ltd provides a vital service to the joinery and shop fitting industry nationally, supplying power tools and accessories as well as other joinery consumables.
With nearly 16,000 different products in stock Joinery Fit-out Supplies has a vast range of fasteners, abrasives and adhesives to satisfy its customers’ requirements.
Joinery Fit-Out was formed in January 2006 to focus on a single industry. “We felt that by concentrating on a particular market sector we could offer our customers an unrivalled level of expertise and offer solutions to problems experienced throughout the industry,” says Des Duddy, M.D.
So what attracts customers to Joinery Fit-out?
“We see it as our role to identify products which save time, increase production or enable our customers to work smarter,” says Des. “With lots of competitors relying on websites or flyers to promote their products we feel that by knowing the product inside out and demonstrating our understanding of the customers requirements we add real value to their company.”
The company is an associate member of the National Association of Shopfitters which has proved invaluable. It enables them to meet companies across the UK and helps them find out what is happening within the industry in terms of new designs and materials.
“We have selected our suppliers very carefully and we rely on companies that invent products which in turn allow us to create markets and be seen as innovators. Recently we have launched our own range of products under the brand of Maxitek. These products have been designed to offer our customers quality, consistency and ultimately good value.
2008 started very positively for Joinery Fit-out Supplies. Winning and keeping business is not easy but their customers appreciate the effort they put in to make things happen which is critical in such a fast moving industry.
