The UTAG(r) is an aluminium alloy digital dog tag, for use in an emergency. The front of the UTAG(r) features the acronym ICE, meaning 'in case of emergency'. The snake and staff medical symbol inside the paramedic star will alert emergency services that the UTAG(r) contains important medical information.
About the UTAG(r)
The UTAG(r) contains a USB drive which swivels open to reveal the connector. This is a unique design brings the traditional dog tag into the digital age, this allows for more information to be stored - than could be on a traditional engraved dog tag.With the UTAG(r) fully open the device folds flat ready to be inserted into a normal PC USB port. The UTAG(r) is a super slim USB device that can be inserted into a normal USB port on a windows ME, 2000, XP or Viista computer. Once inserted, your computer will recognise the device, it will pop up a window to ask you to open the device (Me, 2000 and XP) or run the program (Settings dependant in Vista).You only need to complete the information that you would like to include.UTAG(r)

Concept
Motorcyclists are very aware that with the joys of biking come unavoidable risks and that accidents can happen. Some already carry contact information in case of emergency but it is difficult to make this visible and accessible and it can be easily overlooked. The creator of UTAG(r) wanted a product that could easily be seen and identified as containing emergency information and could be worn in a visible place (The first place a paramedic would look when checking your airways). It needed to carry all the important medical information that a rider felt was necessary to help in an emergency situation. It had to give every rider the best possible chance of communicating with the emergency services, letting them know who to contact on their behalf and pass on any medical information they wanted to make available. It also needed to be something a rider would want to wear and would be seen as a worthwhile fashionable accessory.
