About Ha'penny House
Ha’penny House is a delightful character home offering guest accommodation in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It is set in a pleasant, quiet residential area of Milford on Sea just 300 metres from the sea at Hordle Cliff where there are sweeping views of the Isle of Wight and the Needles to the east and the Purbeck Hills to the west.
Beautifully decorated, the light and airy bedrooms are all en-suite with T.V tea/coffee and many extra touches. Excellent breakfasts are served in our large, sunny dining room. There is a cosy guest lounge with open fire, attractive gardens, summer house and ample private parking.

Milford has a typical village green, a good selection of small shops, restaurants and three inns. All are within walking distance of Ha’penny House either by road or following the stream through the woodlands behind the house. There are more “eateries” within a short drive.
The area has plenty to offer visitors from walking or cycling the coastal paths and nearby New Forest to golfing and horse riding or simply relaxing by the sea.
Just one mile away is the tranquil harbour of Keyhaven, set amongst the marshes well known for their interesting bird life, with views to Hurst Castle and lighthouse. Lymington, renowned for yachting and its Saturday street market, offers a ferry service to the Isle of Wight. Highcliffe Castle, Christchurch Priory, Beaulieu Abbey and the National Motor Museum are all nearby. Bournemouth and the historic towns of Salisbury and Southampton are also within easy reach.
