About Friends Day Nursery

Welcome to Friends Day Nursery
At Friends Nursery we provide high quality childcare enabling parents and carers to focus on other responsibilities. They can do this confident that their children are happy and safe in a home from home atmosphere.
We are situated in the secure grounds of Ash Manor School. We have an all weather garden and use the school grounds to give the children lots of fresh air and exercise.
These are formative years for your child and the nurseries aim is to stimulate an interest and respect for people. We prepare your child morally, socially, physically and intellectually so that they have a sound foundation for school life and beyond. The nurseries goal is to help your child develop an appetite for life and ab energetic curiosity for knowledge.
We employ mature, experienced and well qualified staff who are responsible, intelligent and fun loving. The nursery is a small family run company with the owners Lesley Friend and her husband John involved in your child's welfare.
We cook all lunches from scratch using organic fruit, vegetables and milk. Our fantastic menu if low in salt, sugar and unsaturated fat and high in vitamins and fibre.
Government funding is available for 3 and 4 year olds.
