About Driftwood Surf Lodge
In the heart of Newquay Mat, Kirsteen and Little Jimmy (the Jack Russell) are waiting to welcome you to our friendly surf lodge, where hospitality, cleanliness and value for money are top priorities.
Our accommodation offers all the amenities expected by the modern backpacker/surfer at very competitive rates. The Lodge is well situated for our long term Summer workers, as we are located in the heart of Newquay, near to the beaches and other work places.
Mat, a skateboarder and snowboarder, is passionate about surfing. He has surfed all over the world, from Hawaii to Bali, and from Ecuador to Morocco.
He lives in Newquay, where he surfs all year round, and he runs Driftwood Lodge Backpackers, in Grosvenor Avenue. A qualified BSA Coach and Life Guard, Mat offers friendly, fun surf coaching for all ages and abilities, on Newquay's golden sands.
