About Coombes Wood Swimming Club
Coombes Wood Swimming are an amateur swimming club who's aim is to teach children and
young people to swim, improve their water skills/techniques and
endeavour to promote water safety awareness, in order that our sport
can be enjoyed in a safe and friendly environment.
We meet at Halesowen Leisure Centre, utilising both the learner and large pool facilities.
The Club charges a weekly admission fee which is inclusive of all
tuition. In addition to this, an annual administration and insurance
fee is charged, which is payable on the 1st January each year. These
fees are reviewed periodically and amended as necessary.
Starting at 8.00 pm prompt, swimming lessons are given to junior
members (age 4 to18 years), which terminate at approximately 8.45 pm,
with some limited free time after.
At 9.00 pm both the learner and large pools are closed to junior
members, with the large pool remaining open until 10.00pm for adult
members who want to enjoy having a swim.
