About Chi Kri
This summer Chi Kri is inviting you to step back from city life for a rejuvenating weekend of yoga, meditation, peace and bliss at Gaunts House, Wimborne Dorset. The retreat will be under the guidance of Neil Patel, experienced practitioner, and the founder of Chi Kri Yoga.
Over the weekend Neil will be taking you through a full time table of four themed yoga sessions, four themed meditation sessions, and two Chi Kri workshops. Attending sessions is not mandatory. You will have the freedom to attend at your discretion.
Accompanying Neil will be qualified Chi Kri trained teacher Karupa Patel and six up and coming trainee teachers who will be hands on at all times. They will be able to assist you with any questions or thoughts that you might have about yoga.
Each day three nutritious and delicious meals will be provided. The meals will be strictly vegetarian. If you have any special catering needs then meals can be accommodated for you. A selection of fine fresh juices will also be available and a selection of herbal/ regular tea, coffee, biscuits and fruit will be provided throughout the day. The accommodation is simple but enough to make you feel at home.
Why Do We Go On A Yoga Retreat?
Yoga retreats give you the freedom to practice intensely yoga without any distractions. The retreat gives time for your mind, body and soul to understand how to switch off from desires and attachments and to bring clarity, unification and peacefulness within. A Chi Kri retreat will be a place of peace and fun, but also of hard work. On a retreat you will find longer guided meditation periods to challenge your mental and spiritual resolve, deep examination into postures to help assist your physical development, and stimulating exercises and talks for helping you move forward in the material world. The idea is that you leave the retreat not just rested, but you leave a brighter and better person than when you arrived.
