David Walter from Hurst Green trading as Cafe2U has now secured the rights as the sole hot drink and food provider for Lingfield Train Station. The commuters of Lingfield have been crying out for a service like Cafe2U for many years and with no other facilities available once David saw the opportunity he was happy to oblige. Last week he launched his service with free cappuccinos, lattes, espressos, americanos, mochas, teas and hot chocolates for all commuters. The response was outstanding with over 75 hot drinks served on the first morning. Everyone was wowed by David’s Cafe2U vehicle, which is a Mercedes Vito, converted into a mobile café. As well as fantastic hot drinks he is also serving a wide range of sandwiches, wraps, salads, crisps, cakes and fruit, as well as a wide selection of hot food including hot bacon rolls for those hungry commuters. David was thrilled to finally be able to offer his service, “It has taken some time to organise, but it’s been so worthwhile as commuters continue to congratulate me on my new service. I joined the Cafe2U franchise at the beginning of the year and have been servicing local business and industrial parks in the Crawley area. To offer this service at Lingfield Train Station means even more people can sample the delights of my Cafe2U.” If you catch a train from Lingfield Train Station, David will be serving between 6.40am and 8.10am (his regular time slot), Monday to Friday every week, rain or shine so don’t worry about breakfast just leave enough time to grab your latte and pain au chocolat and David will do the rest!
