BASC is the largest and oldest shooting association in the UK. Stanley Duncan, a keen wildfowler and naturalist founded us in 1908. Even that long ago, shooters were coming under increasing threat from biased public opinion and political misunderstanding. From these humble beginnings, BASC has grown to an internationally recognised shooting and conservation body.
