WELCOME Astral Hygiene was founded in 1998 by Carol Armstrong and Grant McCulloch. Carol at that time had over fifteen years experience in the hygiene industry, while Grant had over twenty years experience in retail. From humble beginnings in a Victorian warehouse in Newtown St. Boswells, two and a half years ago Astral was able to move to custom-built premises in Charlesfield Industrial Estate, St. Boswells.

Astral Hygiene are main distributors for SCA (Tork), Georgia Pacific (Lotus), Evans Vanodine, Dysys Chemicals, Go-Jo (Purell) and Numatic. We also stock a large range of disposable paper products, chemicals and janitorial supplies from a wide range of manufacturers.
This enables us to cater for any needs our customers may have.

We currently supply SBC Protective Services, SBHA, Edinburgh Council, a number of leading hotels such as The Roxburgh Hotel and Golf Course, Dalhousie Castle Hotel and Spa, etc. Our aim is to offer a janitorial supplies service level few other firms can equal. Being placed in the Central Borders we can offer frequent deliveries throughout the Borders.
