Animal Friend is owned by Philippa Short, who firmly believes in a natural holistic approach to raising and training animals. She has attended several of Wendy Volhard’s training and holistic camps in the USA, who is one of the top trainers and animal holistic therapists is the USA.
She has home boarded and trained dogs for many years,incorporating all of the holistic modalities. She is a qualified Canine sports Massage Therapist and Reiki Master.She has studied animal acupressure for 3 years with Tallgrass Institute, learning Traditional Chinese Medicine, Five Element Theory and Meridian Theory.
She attained a Diploma with Distinction in animal aromatherapy after studying for a year with GEOTA (Guild of Essential Oil Therapist for Animals). She also trained in animal aromatics and zoopharmacognosy with Caroline Ingraham, the leading expert in the field, again achieving a Diploma withDistinction.
Animal friend offers a range of services which include, home boarding and training for dogs, animal reiki, small animal accupressure, canine sports massage, animal aromatherapy and aromatics, one to one dog training, nutritional advice, animal reiki workshops, animal aromatic workshops, puppy testing and advice sessions.
