About AllSensesArt
AllSensesArt is run by artist Kirsty Smith. She specialises in teaching feltmaking; where you make your own felt from colourful wool fibres.
With just merino wool fibres, warm water and soap you can make almost anything:
Wall hangings, cushions, slippers, bags, puppets, and jewellery….the possibilities are endless. Kirsty has over 12 years of experience and is a member of the International Feltmakers Association. She set up AllSensesArt in April 2007 and since then has led workshops in schools, nurseries, art galleries, hospitals, festivals, community centres, libraries and even a cathedral. She teaches in a fun and lively way and it has been said that her enthusiasm is infectious.
She has a full CRB check and Public Liability Insurance
She is happy to teach feltmaking to small groups of friends and has found that her felted jewellery and felted bags parties are enjoyed by children and adults. And boys really enjoy felting too. Her footballer glove puppets are a great hit!
Feltmaking is an unusual and engaging activity for children’s birthday parties.
