A Civil Ceremony is A Ceremony that is driven by the wishes, beliefs and values of the person or family, not by the beliefs or ideology of the person conducting it.
Your service may contain religious content or be completely non-religious or atheist. The choice is yours. Ceremonies may be held anywhere you choose .. at home, in a hotel, at a castle, at sea, in the woods, in the family garden.. ... or any location which is special to you. It is you who choose readings, poems and music. You may also wish to involve your family or friends by reading something yourself. The choice, as always, is yours.
We offer an understanding of the diversity of the Scottish people today and, if you require a ceremony which reflects the cultural and social mix which is Scotland today, we are only too happy to accommodate your wishes.
